The San Diego International Auto Show is one of the best car shows in the United States, and a wonderful opportunity to see the coolest new vehicles and automotive products on the market. Film Festival Commemorates San Diego’s Strong Latino Spirit

Celebrate Latino culture on the big screen at the annual San Diego Latino Film Festival. The annual festival takes place in March and screens hundreds of feature films, shorts and documentaries that honor the Latino way of life. It attracts more than 20,000 film lovers to beautiful San Diego, as well as many up-and-coming Latino actors, actresses, writers, directors and producers.

Del Mar’s Bing Crosby Series Produces Exhilarating Horse Racing Every Fall

The Bing Crosby Season is a brief season of thoroughbred horse racing that usually takes place during the month of November at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. If you’re planning to vacation in San Diego during that time, or if you’re in town on business, you should make time to attend a day of races at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in the oceanside city of Del Mar. A day at the racetrack is a fun, family friendly experience. Witness the beauty and grace of magnificent thoroughbred horses in a heart-pounding sprint to the finish line! Holiday Bowl in San Diego is a College Football Classic

About Point Loma

Surrounded by water on three sides, Point Loma is one of San Diego’s most distinctive neighborhoods. The hilly seaside neighborhood is bordered on the south and west by the Pacific Ocean, to the north by the San Diego River, and to the east by Old Town and San Diego Bay.

Point Loma – along with the Silver Strand/Coronado peninsula – defines San Diego Bay and separates it from the ocean. The term “Point Loma” is used for the area that includes both the neighborhood and the peninsula. The area has a population of around 48,000 including Ocean Beach and covers roughly 4,400 acres. The west side of the peninsula has sheer sandstone cliffs that line the ocean, called Sunset Cliffs.
